The sun is pouring through the bookshop window and Burford Lit Fest is coming together. I am delighted that we have our venue at Burford Baptist Church, Witney Street, Burford. We also have the first of our authors confirmed.

If you have been enjoying the TV series "Miss Austen" then save the date now. Author Gill Hornby will be joining us on Saturday 27th September, she is the author of Miss Austen, Godmersham Park and her new book, The Elopement will be in the bookshop this May.

To celebrate our 5th Festival we are delighted to welcome back photographic journalist, Stephen Markeson to talk about his book, Fleet Street Exposures. Since appearing at our first Lit Fest, Stephen has taken his book and stories across the globe.
